Our Mission & Director’s Message

Stacey Stremming

Director’s Message

I was born and raised in Windsor Illinois. I graduated from Windsor High School in 1992. I got my Associates in Science from Lake Land College in 1997 and my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Eastern Illinois University in 1999.

In 2011, I took over the Library director duties. With the help of a gracious board and wonderful employees we have made many physical changes to the library; moving shelves around to make better use of the space, making designated children’s areas, pretend play areas with a Lego table, train table and a doll house. Internal changes by adding new programs; such as the implementation of E-books and special events. During my short time here at Windsor Storm Memorial Public Library we have joined the largest library consortium in the United States, Illinois Heartland Library System and S.H.A.R.E.

As director I look forward to seeing each of you in the library. We, at Windsor Storm Memorial Public Library, would like to help you with your reading needs.

Stacey Stremming, Director
